THE SWEET SPOT
Hello, now we will begin the
fascinating study of how to become a master of your world, life, and business.
The
interesting thing about a Samurai approach to this broad sweeping subject is
that it’s totally inward directed.
Rather than placing attention on the event horizon; the outer rim of the
world events, corporation politics, or system logistics, we go directly to the
eye, the center, US!
As you
all know, the center of a tornado, a whirl pool, or a galaxy is calm and still,
while on the outer rim at the event horizon things move fast and may be
turbulent.
There
are a few ways to look at that. One
would be that excitement and rapid change is on the event horizon. While in the center is rest, peace, or possibly
boredom.
One may
be entranced by the ever changing event horizon or they may be caught in it,
like a leaf in a whirl pool. I will tell
you with authority that the majority is like the leaf. I know several people personally right now
whose lives resemble a dog chasing its tail.
They desperately want to leave the life they have, but money is so
scarce, and time so crunched, they cannot find a way to punch a hole big enough
and long enough to make the change.
The
trick is in the mind, but it’s only accessible when a person is ready. If this information speaks to you or your
friends, I hope you’re ready, because Applied Samurai Wisdom is a way out. And just like a valiant Samurai, the way out
is THROUGH, by immersion.
You see,
the event horizon is now understood by science and spirituality alike as effects, while the center is the cause.
From my 38 plus years of professional training, experience, and study I
want to put forth to you that you can ride the stream of the event horizon sitting
in the sweet spot of stillness, just like driving a supper fast car.
Regardless
of the apparent speed of events in your life’s routines and agendas, the still
point is ALWAYS THERE. That is reality, period. Brilliant Scientists like Nassim Haramein have
proven this with new mathematics, and his findings are peer reviewed.
However,
I know only too well that it is much easier to write these words than to
actualize them. Our first task is to
acquire a fundamental understanding so that the quickening process can begin
within.
The vast majority of the people you see, regardless of their
apparent achievements and status, live either in the future or the past or are fluctuating
between the two. Only seldom, and for
very brief moments, do they lock into the present moment, conscious and lucid.
Dr. Joe Dispenza’s research shows that we lose conscious attention on
whatever task we are doing, 2 – 6 times per minute. Further, according to
the research of Dr. Bruce Lipton, 70% of all our thoughts are redundant and
negative.
That
said, the question is, where is the present moment? How can you be sure your
really there? The answer is simple, so
simple in fact that we all miss it. WHERE YOUR BODY IS.
Even if
you were a time traveler, no matter where you were, deep past, or distant
future, you would be there! Make sense?
Now,
realize that the sweet spot, at any moment in time, whether looking at a
beautiful sun set, or in the middle of a corporate crunch, is always the NOW.
Therefore,
access it by coming into your body and aligning your conscious focus, (foreground
attention) on where you (body) are, what you’re doing, and most importantly, HOW you’re doing it.
Notice
areas of tension in your body. When I began this practice many years ago, and
to this very day, I notice my shoulders tense and raised if my agenda is
pressing. Once my awareness touches
that, I breathe, drop my shoulders, and remind myself that life well lived is more
important than deadlines to whomever or whatever. That gives me perspective, slows the rush,
and quiets my busy mind. I go back to
the sweet spot of stillness, where I have power to choose instead of reacting.
Speaking
of deadlines remember this; your deadline is on the event horizon and exists in the future as a mental
objective. YOU ARE THE CENTER, the objective revolves around you! Take you
away, and the objective vanishes.
NOTHING!
I will
share with you a simple truth; none of us will ever serve or engage any
deadline or objective better than by calming ourselves and anchoring our mind
and body in the sweet spot of the NOW. Period.
